African Wild Dogs are now referred to as Painted Dogs. They are critically endangered, with fewer than 5,000 left in the wild. These highly social, unique animals, each with their own beautiful coat pattern, are misunderstood, shot, and poached. With my art, I hope to not only create beauty but bring attention to the plight of animals in danger. And, of course, to grace your home with a Painted Dog of your own.
